The proliferating field of artificial intelligence (AI) presents good opportunities to tackle pressing global challenges, including combating social stigma and countering misinformation. Our research group is in this endeavor, seeking to utilize the power of AI to drive positive behavioral and attitudinal changes. By cultivating interdisciplinary collaborations, we focus on developing human-AI interactions that address societal issues and are grounded in human-centered design principles. This talk will showcase our innovative projects that are making a tangible impact in the realm of social good and outline the potential for future AI-driven initiatives in this area.
